I'm No Paula Dean, But I'm Learning...

When Jon and I got married, he did all the cooking and I did all the baking. Before Jon, I was fine with raman noodles or a microwaveable. I was too lazy to put that much effort into a dinner when it could be done in 2 minutes instead. Jon was the king of the kitchen. I was 18 when I got married, so I never had the time to learn how to cook before I met him. Long story short, the past 2 years have consisted of lots of trial and error...and this is where I say "Thank God for Pinterest"! Pinterest gave me hope that maybe I can be a decent cook after all lol.

Simple. Easy. Quick.

Great Snack!

Sliced turkey served with

a side of veggies.

My favorite side is sauteed

zucchini and squash

Chicken breast grilled in extra virgin olive oil, and seasoned how you like it.

Served with a side of mixed veggies.

We buy a special type of fish from a local store. I hate fish, but this particular fish lacks that "fishy taste". Once you season it, tastes like chicken.

High in Omega-3= Very Healthy

Salad and Chicken

I buy a head of lettuce and a bag of frozen chicken strips. When I make a salad, I use 4 strips of grilled chicken and chop it up in my salad.

Use fat free dressing only.

Grilled Chicken & Peppers

Cook grilled chicken beasts in extra virgin olive oil. Season to your preference. Top the chicken with red, yellow, and green peppers sauteed in extra virgin olive oil.

Serve with brown rice

Yoplait Yogurt or Store Brand

Flavor: Key Lime Fat Free

Soo good!
